Finding Rozy

Miki, a struggling documentary filmmaker, finds his next subject in a ghost from his past, Rozy, an enigmatic high school friend who has become a homeless wanderer. What begins as an attempt to document Rozy’s chaotic world quickly spirals into a profound obsession. The deeper he goes, the more the boundaries between his own life and Rozy’s reality begin to dissolve.

The visual aesthetic is a hybrid, blending CG stop-motion puppets with detailed 3D scans of the actual streets of South Tel Aviv. This choice creates a world oozing with grit, capturing the smoky, jazzy atmosphere of the Central Station area.

The film explores the parasitic duality of the documentary, questioning whether it serves the subject or the creator’s ego, as Miki’s search for a story threatens to dismantle his own life.
